Seaside drive
The drive along seaside and the warmer weather was a nice change of view from the snowy mountains.
The coast was lined with multiple sheep farms and water was a deep clear blue colour. We stopped so many times that we didn't reach Wanaka till late.
Freshest sashimi
After a good night's rest, we had booked a fishing experience at the salmon farm. Although the other people were struggling, lady luck must have been on our side as we caught three fish within the hour.
We handed our catch in and that evening we enjoyed the most fresh and delicious sashimi we have had.
The end
Our last night we drove up above the town and just watched the sky. Nobody wanted to the trip to end yet.
One week was not enough, we will be back.
